Since this vegan pesto is made without oil, it is considered a whole food plant-based recipe. It's a low-calorie condiment with great flavor, ideal for weight loss; which also fits in a healthy WFPB lifestyle.
I made this dish during my weekly Live stream, where I topped a yeast and oil-free spelt pizza. The pizza dough was made with spinach juice, which turned the dough slightly green. Then topped with the vegan pesto, freshly sliced tomatoes, and peppers.
